6th Annual Turning Hearts Celebration

Larry Chmelar and crew faithfully parked the vehicles of the estimated 400 people who came to our 6th Annual Turning Hearts Celebration held on our farm on Labor Day. This is an event that began with God giving Marlin a desire to encourage fathers to turn their hearts to their children.
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4:2

After Norm Wakefield’s message at 2:00, there were hayrides for young and old alike.

There was plenty of time for fellowship and playing games together before we shared together in a fellowship meal at 5:00.

The evening program began at 6:45 in the our machine shed. Our children shared the song “Arrows” taken from Psalm 127:4 “As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.”

“But grow in the grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” II Peter 3:17a
Norm Wakefield shared 2 messages, the first one was “Building a Legacy of Revival in America” at 2:00 and the second was “God’s Design for Blessing the Family” at 7:15. I was challenged by the need to have an humble heart for revival.
“Let the work of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:4
The Wissmann Family ended the evening with their beautiful music.
