Along with planting the fields…this time of year also means it is time to get the seeds in the gardens! We are scaling back a bit on our gardening this year, for a variety of reasons, but there are still several gardens to plant and it is a big project for the spring!
Mom continues to be chief of the garden department, with Denver as her right hand man and the four littles as trusty crew. =) Together, they make those seeds fly! Well okay, not quite. =)
Trimming up some leftover kale that grew back from last years’ crop!
Taylor and Liz, weeding and clearing out one of our big flower beds, out by the barn sign.
Measuring + digging for potato planting.
Mom, hard at work, raking and hoeing in the front garden.

Sometimes, while everyone else is working, the baby has to just sit on the fence and look cute. =)

  1. "Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31) Love the beautiful pictures and seeing the good work ethics in the kiddos. Blessings!

    1. I actually posted this yesterday but scheduled it for today. I thought I would surprise people by having something there so early. =)
The earliest riser is whoever is milking (that person gets up at 3:30am) and then the rest of us get up at various times, usually sometime from 5-6am
