I think the key to an empty alley must be the time you go! We went bowling on a Tuesday morning, around 10am, and we had it totally to ourselves the entire time. There wasn't music playing (or if there was, it was really quiet because I don't remember it) and my dad asked the owner guy to turn the TV's off. =) Sometimes you just gotta ask! (I'm sure it helped that we were the only ones there so there was no one else to care about the TV's)
