While we were in Indiana we had a family field trip thanks to a friend and fireman, Mr. Martin.  He gave us a personal tour of the two Harrison township fire stations.

We were most intrigued with the rescue truck and all of its amazing and life saving tools.
Our boys got out the stop watch while Mr. Martin put on his fireman gear.  Final score:  1 minute and 5 seconds.
Five of the children had the thrill of riding the fire truck.

Thanks again Mr. Martin, for the great educational experience.  For the boys at least, this field trip would have to rank at the top.  You are an example of the many selfless men all over the US who volunteer many, many hours and risk their lives to help those in time of need.
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”  John 15:13
