I am so enjoying your beautiful posts and pictures from Alaska. I love Alaska, and have visited there many many times, my first visit being when I was 15 and traveled there with my parents and 5 sisters, as dad seriously wanted to homestead there (back in the 1960's when you still could) and we drove from our home in SoCal. The Alaskan Highway was a dirt road, back then. Dirt road. Literally one of the highlights of my 60 years. I've been blessed to travel having been to all 50 states, and DC by the time I was 18 (all with my family), and 47 countries in my passports, but Alaska is by far my favorite place on earth, and I go up as often as I can. Thankfully I live in Seattle, so I'm not too far away.
