We ended out our time in Alaska with a stop in the town of Valdez. It was our first time to this delightful town and we had an incredible two days there. On Saturday we went on a family hike and then the pastor gave us a tour of the town/musuems.
A few pushups happening before the hike. =)
Allison and Rebs!
We missed the bears; they were running just a bit ahead of our schedule apparently!
(some in the family were quite disappointed that there was no meeting. Others were relieved =))
We hiked along the water for a while and this was the view.

Rebecca in the museum, learning about what an early “gold rush cabin claim” looked like back in the old days.

These four loved touring a local taxidermy place. Alaska is a great place for establishments like this!
Dad + Mom getting the waterfront tour and looking young as ever!
By the way, they celebrated their 28th anniversary while we were in Alaska!

We ended out the day with the world’s most amazing seafood buffet prepared for us by the pastor and his wife. They served five different kinds of sea food (above, shrimp, king crab, and halibut pictured) along with a host of other foods and it was SO good!
