Late the evening of the 23rd, we headed back east on the Alaskan highway!
The drive is so long, but the scenery is gorgeous!
Morning stop along the road for breakfast, music practice, and exercise time!

During the night, we passed some friends on the highway! We met up the next day and enjoyed dinner together before our evening concert in Watson Lake.

At the end of the Alaskan Highway, we stopped in at some friends’ ranch in time to catch their ranch rodeo they were hosting that night. Definitely not the type of thing we have going on in Iowa, sadly! It was a big treat to get to see their production as a group of local ranchers and families came together to practice for an upcoming town rodeo!
