Work Night!

On Monday evening, we had a family work night in preparation for the 16th Annual Turning Hearts Celebration. If you’ve not yet decided to come, we hope you won’t miss this highlight, on Labor Day, September 3! You can learn more about the event here.
Denver, our project manager, delegated specific tasks beforehand, so as to keep our energies
focused on always doing instead of deciding what to do next.
Mitchell and Bryn working on shop windows.
Denver and Hudson are the two most energetic, enthusiastic,
and efficient potato diggers you’ll find!
Joshua and Taylor tag-teamed to tackle the project of garden edging.
Rebecca, always diligent.
Allison, cleaning cobwebs in the basement.
Mother and Liz hosted an onion stringing-up party.
Carson and Dad organized the shop work bench.
Looking forward to seeing some of you on Monday, September 3!
“And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” –Malachi 4:6

  1. My plans are to be there. Not sure yet may be by myself. Mom with her dizzy spells doesn't feel comfortable trying to maintain her balance yet until she goes through more tests to see what is causing it.

  2. Good afternoon!! Thank you for sharing your project days with us. I would really like to know what kind of edging you use for your garden, or do you simply edge it with a square-ended shovel? I am having to redo all of the edging on my flowerbeds, but I see no point in replacing the metal edging that is rusting with more metal edging because it is really expensive. Also, I hope you enjoyed the Labor Day Weekend with family celebration you hosted.
