All of week eight was spent in Florida. We sang at six new churches/events, and met so many new friends.
Above was my favorite concert of the week-singing in a barn in Polk City. It was a very chilly night but with lots of people packed inside we were able to stay warm enough to play our instruments and sing. The barn was full with many families and lots of yummy food. Several other groups sang as well and all in all it was just a really special night of fellowship and music.
Some friends of ours from Ohio were vacationing in Florida and came to our concert. I loved getting to meet their new baby!
More sweet friends from Georgia were also vacationing in Florida and came to our concert as well. Afterwards we drove our two buses to a nearby Walmart for the night. We mixed up people and drivers for fun. =)
The next morning there was a morning workout and walks, and family devotions together. Special memories!
This sign was really funny. It simply read, “pavement ends”.
Not really…we never would have guessed. =)
We sang at a Prime Timers event one day and afterwards one of the gentlemen who attended offered to give our family a tour of the local NASA Museum there in Titusville. It was fascinating!
Our friends back at MABC sent us girls Chick-Fil-A gift cards for Valentines Day! The guys got in on the action too and we had a delicious Chick-Fil-A lunch one day.
Every fuel stop is different. Sometimes we are all sleeping and no one gets out but the driver. Other times…everyone gets out! This particular stop, Mitchell and Carson were working on maintenance, Josh was filling up the water bay, Dad was fueling up the bus, the younger boys threw the football, and Mom and I went on a walk.
One night we parked at the gym of a church we had sung that morning. The guys played some intense basketball and later that night a few of us played Settlers of Catan.

I am so glad that your winter tour is continuing to go well! Praise God! That is so cool how you all keep up with homeschooling and still serve in ministry! That's the cool thing about homeschooling!;D Just wondering, but do you all use the ATI curriculum? We do, and I know that you've mentioned about family camps in Big Sandy.:)
Continuing to keep you all in my prayers!
